Falmouth Cocaine Dealer Arrested in Shower After K-9 Chase: Police

A Falmouth cocaine dealer was arrested in a shower following a K-9 chase, police said.

FALMOUTH, MA — A Falmouth cocaine dealer was arrested Tuesday, police said.

Alberto Brito, 34, was caught during a K-9 chase that ended in an outdoor shower where he tried to hide from officers, police said.

The chase started at about 2 a.m. when an officer noticed Brito driving a blue 2005 Jeep Liberty "suspiciously" on the Chapoquoit Road. The officer tried to pull Brito over but he took off, police said.

Brito ditched his vehicle on the same road and ran into a woman's residence, police said. A Barnstable County Sheriff's Department K-9 unit soon found him hiding in an outdoor shower stall, police said.

Brito allegedly had 40 grams of cocaine and a large quantity of marijuana in his possession. He was charged with:
