Falmouth Fire Prevents Beach Blaze From Spreading To Building
Fire officials said crews put out the fire before it could spread to a bath house owned by the Bowerman's Beach Club.
FALMOUTH, MA — Firefighters extinguished a dune fire Wednesday night, preventing it from spreading to a building near Chapoquoit Beach.
Around 8:15 p.m., firefighters were called Chapoquoit Road for reported grass fire in the sand dunes.
Fire officials said crews put out the grass fire before it could spread to a bath house owned by the Bowerman's Beach Club.
