Falmouth High School A Cappella Singers Entertain Woods Hole Woman's Club

Soulfege sings at Woods Hole Woman's Club and Raises Money for Falmouth High School Choral trip

Traditional holiday carols with creative embellishments filled the December meeting of the Woods Hole Woman’s Club. Members of Soulfege, Falmouth High School’s auditioned extra-curricular a cappella group, shared their talent and enthusiasm with Woman’s Club members. The music and a spread of seasonal baked goods boosted the holiday spirit of all attending.

At the end of the meeting, many members purchased a CD recorded by current members of Soulfege featuring 14 traditional a cappella Christmas carols. Proceeds from these sales will help support the Falmouth High School Chorus, Repertory Singers and Soulfege planned trip to San Francisco in April 2016. The groups will perform at the majestic Grace Cathedral Church and the famous Pier 39 marketplace, and gain invaluable knowledge and direction from David Conte, a world-renowned composer and conductor, in a personalized choral workshop at the San Francisco Conservatory. Todd Fruth is the High School’s Choral Director.

Additional sales of this CD and donations of any amount are always welcome to help support the trip to San Francisco. Please contact soulfegefhsofficial@gmail.com if you wish to purchase a CD for $10. or to make a donation. Checks can be made payable to Falmouth Choral Boosters.
