Falmouth Police Warn of Underage Alcohol Stings

Falmouth police will soon conduct compliance checks at local establishments that sell alcohol.

Falmouth, MA — Falmouth police on Friday announced they will soon conduct compliance checks at local establishments that sell alcohol.

The checks will likely include stings where an underage operative will try to buy alcohol. Businesses that sell to the underage buyer could be cited.

"This activity could consist of using an underage operative to purchase alcohol, monitoring businesses for underage activity and making sure businesses have permits," Falmouth police said in a statement.
