Falmouth "Saudi Arabia of Wind Power" Taxpayers Conned

Falmouth residents on their way to the Emerald City only to find the whole thing was a bunco scheme

Massachusetts politicians told you years ago wind is a clean source of renewable energy that produces no pollution. That is until the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection recieved thousands of written certified noise complaints from Falmouth residents. The residents describe the noise as torture from lack of sleep.

Many Guantanamo interrogators including psychologists and psychiatrists were trained to use sleep deprivation. Sleep deprivation causes impaired memory and cognitive functioning, decreased short term memory, speech impairment, hallucinations, psychosis, lowered immunity, headaches, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, stress, anxiety and depression.

The same politicians told you wind energy is free and provides your town a stable revenue stream forever. That is until you found out the town hid noise warning letters, memos and documents. Even Vestas wind company the manufacturer of the wind turbines warned town officials they were making a big mistake.

They say the sleek modern wind turbines are beautiful but many tourist say they look like giant upside-down tooth brushes sticking out of a toilet. Would you go out of your way to spend a week listening to the types of noise whooshing and thumping while the sun shadows from the blades pulse into your bedroom morning and night.

The town owes on maintenance contracts, loans, insurance and is actually puting electric power into the turbines to keep them operational while they are off.

The town has ten litigation cases hiring law firms and idividual specialized zoning attorneys and probably more in the most recent appeal.

Least we forget Barnstable Superior Court Judge Muse said during the 2013 court proceedings the wind turbine abutters have been injured. How do you apologize to people who suffered from a noise described as torture and had their property rights taken with no compensation for six years.

Falmouth residents don't like to admit they have been hoodwinked, or conned but Falmouth got conned. The con is also called the money box scheme.

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center formerly the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative gave the Town of Falmouth one million dollars up front to buy Falmouth Wind 1 that could not be sold at auction.

Everyone in town thought free lunches forever. But in turn the taxpayers owe millions of dollars on useless wind turbines.
