FALMOUTH TOWN MEETING CONSIDERS EVICTING 200 FAMILIES FOR WIND TURBINES
"Impediments"- Up to 200 residential homeowners - Massachusetts Eminent Domain Laws found in Chapter 79 -Falmouth Town Meeting 4/5/2016

Remove Impediments : Up to 200 residential home owners
ARTICLE 27: To see if the Town will vote to advise the Board of Selectmen to take all necessary legal actions and measures by no later than December 31, 2016 to " remove any and all impediments " to fulltime operation of the Town’s municipal wind turbines per the manufacturer’s specifications at its Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 154 Blacksmith Shop Road, West Falmouth, MA. Or do or take any other action on the matter. ..............On petition of Ronald D. Zweig and others.
RECOMMENDATION (Board of Selectmen): Indefinite Postponement.
EXPLANATION: During the November 10, 2015 Special Town Meeting, the Town Meeting voted to “support the Board of Selectmen’s efforts toward maximizing the benefits and thereby minimizing any financial burden to Falmouth’s citizens from operation of the Town’s municipal turbines at its Wastewater Treatment Facility at 154 Blacksmith Shop Road, West Falmouth, MA.”
The Board continues toward this end, considering all potential liability to the Town. No further action is required by Town Meeting.

The " Friends of Falmouth Wind "evolved from the fear of a loss of financial gain from the two town owned megawatt wind turbines. The " Friends of Falmouth Wind " was not originally intended to be a hate organization taking health and property rights; rather it was a secret club, or secret society of local politicians for the advancement of clean energy.
The group, " Friends of Falmouth Wind, " according to their facebook page has no interest in the health and saftey of the residents living around the turbines.
