FALMOUTH, MA — Veterans Day is on Friday, and Falmouth will host the annual ceremony that morning. But that's not the only event happening around the Cape to honor American veterans.

Falmouth's annual ceremony is set to start with a parade beginning at the Village Green and finishing on the library lawn. The ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m.
Steamship Authority

The Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority is offering free travel for veterans on Friday.
Active duty, military veterans, and retired military veterans who have a valid military ID showing their active duty, honorable discharge or retired status can travel as a passenger for free on all Steamship Authority ferries, including traditional ferries and the Nantucket high-speed ferry.
Falmouth Hosts 8th Annual Veterans Day Tribute Breakfast
Falmouth Veterans who RSVP'd can get a free breakfast at the Flying Bridge Restaurant on Friday.
Tribute organizer and emcee will be Army veteran, Jay Zavala. The Falmouth Chorale Chamber Singers will perform the National Anthem and America The Beautiful. Invocation will be offered by Rev. Will Mebane, St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.

U.S. military veterans, as well as active duty members, can get in free at the JFK Hyannis Museum on Friday, museum officials announced.
