Waubra Disease is the name given internationally to the common symptoms of commercial wind turbine sickness.

The Foundation was originally known as the 'Waubra Disease Foundation' after the recognition that health problems reported by some residents of Waubra were caused by wind turbines.

The foundation was named after the "Waubra disease" reported by some residents of the town. Other than its name, the Waubra Foundation has no links to the township of Waubra, Victoria Australia.
