Falmouth Wind Turbines Ides Of March

Town Officials Must Disavow Public Associations + Memberships With FFW -Friends Of Falmouth Wind-- Article 27 calls for taking property

The " Friends of Falmouth Wind "evolved from the fear of a loss of financial gain from the two town owned megawatt wind turbines.

When Governor Deval Patrick became governor of Massachusetts various state agencies and news media groups started a state agenda to build 2000 megawatts of commercial wind turbine power.

The agenda required to grip people with fear and frustration over the bleak conditions of climate change. The Massachusetts Democratic Party Platform called for an all out war on fossil fuels. The war on fossil fuels quickly became the backbone of the political power structure of Beacon Hill.

The so called war became a war on the citizens of Massachusetts taking health and property rights in twenty one commuities.

Falmouth, Massachusetts is ground zero for poorly placed wind turbines in the United States another Flint, Michigan another major government screw-up.

The Federal Government became directly linked with the state governments and local towns like Falmouth giving stimulus funds to build commercial megawatt wind turbines. The goal of which was to build turbines in the areas of the highest winds. The only problem was the land on Cape Cod had already been turned into residentially zoned land with a dense residential population.

The " Friends of Falmouth Wind " was not originally intended to be a hate organization taking health and property rights; rather it was a secret club, or secret society of local politicians for the advancement of clean energy. Falmouth has created a second class group of citizens living in the wind turbine zone around the wind turbines. The group Friends of Falmouth Wind in Article 27 proposed at April 4 ,2016 Town Meeting asks to remove the "impediments." It's clear that the "impediments" are the citizens. A hate group is an organized group or movement that advocates and practices hostility towards members of any other designated sector of society. The Town of Falmouth has taken the health and property rights of a minority of citizens and now plans to take action against the ownership of those properties.

The neighbors living around the wind turbines have been complaining of noise resulting in lack of sleep and health problems. The Friends of Falmouth Wind became extreme after written certified noise complaints were lodged with Falmouth Board of Health. This transformation occurred soon after continued lost court cases and findings against the town by the Zoning Board of Appeals and Massachusetts Superior Courts

In Falmouth the "Friends" have become the de facto law, an invisible government that even Town Meeting cannot control. The town has reached a point where there are two sets of laws taking away many rights of the wind turbine victims. One example is anyone complaining of wind turbine noise has to file a certified written noise complaint and then ignored while someone calling about a barking dog has the problem solved overnight. The laws are enforced for one group and selectively ignored for the other minority group.

The membership of the Friends is slowly coming to daylight. The intent of old and new members is to keep the abutters of the wind turbines in their place. The promoters of the megawatt turbines use an aggressive sales pitch of clean energy while destroying the lives of those around the turbines.

Local political figures have turned their heads to the “secretive” health and property takings being blatantly committed.

Over the years the Falmouth Select Board has enacted a political system where the "Friends of Falmouth Wind" have been appointed to local boards. Elected and appointed officials are using their positions to sway elections and legislation over the wind turbines.

Recently through a FOIA, Freedom of Information Act request on March 15, 2016 it has shown the Falmouth Energy Committee Chair is a member of " Friends of Falmouth Wind. " The letter is signed with "Chair, Falmouth Energy Committee" "Friends of Falmouth Wind. " The letter was sent to Richard Sullivan Chief of staff for Governor Deval Patrick, a few weeks in advance of a vote to take down the Falmouth wind turbines. Apparently Richard Sullivan and former Governor Patrick were aware of the members of Friends of Falmouth Wind.

The " Friends of Falmouth Wind " is an organization that is looking out for the financial interests of the two town owned wind turbines. The group according to their facebook page and the letter below has no interest in the health and saftey of the residents living around the turbines. Only to operate the wind turbines 24/7.

Public employees, elected officials, appointed officials and volunteers of state, county, and municipal agencies have most of the same rights as other citizens to engage in private political activity. However, the conflict of interest law, G.L. c. 268A, restricts some political activity of public employees, elected officials or appointed officials.

In general, a public employee, elected officials or appointed official may not use his public position to engage in political activity.

Section 23(b)(2)(ii) of the conflict of interest law prohibits the use of one's public position to engage in political activity, because a public employee who does so is using his official position to secure for himself or others (such as a candidate or a ballot question committee) unwarranted privileges of substantial value that are not properly available to similarly situated persons.

The Town of Falmouth at this point should make available all the local officials including appointed and employees of the town that belong to the " Friends of Falmouth Wind ."
