Falmouth Wind Turbines A Runaway Freight Train
Runaway freight train continue to operate without tracks. Only thing keeping them going is Special Council Boston law firms and your money.

Massachusetts
The Falmouth’s wind turbine litigation costs have been going up every year. The town illegally constructed two Vestas V 82 commercial megawatt 1.65 megawatt turbines.
In the last six years the litigation is close to the original purchase price of the first town owned wind turbine Falmouth Wind 1. The cost of Falmouth Wind 1 was 2.8 million dollars.
At the November 2015 Falmouth Town Meeting it was stated by town council that the current litigation budget would not get the town two more months to the end of calendar year 2015. The town at the time of the November Town Meeting had spent around $50,000.00 on wind turbine litigation and projected a need of another $175,000.00 until the end of the 2016 fiscal year.
Town Meeting approve $350,000.00 for all ongoing lawsuits.
Citizens at the November meeting had asked for more detailed reports from town counsel on the litigation fees.
The fiscal year begins in October of 2015 and ends in September of 2016. The April 4, 2016 Town Meeting is the last meeting in fiscal year 2016.
The Town of Falmouth in 2016 is facing nine active lawsuits over the wind turbines.
The town finds itself between a rock and a hard place today. Through FOIA, Freedom of Information Act requests in the past year the town is going to have major problems winning any kind of court litigation.
The FOIA requests reveal the town in 2010 signed an agreement they understood the Vestas V 82 wind turbines they purchased generate 110 decibels of noise the equivalent to a hard rock band playing 24/7. The town then got a memo from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center in April of 2013 that the original noise tests for Falmouth Wind 1 was flawed. Recently it was revealed the Chairperson of the Falmouth Energy Committee is a member of the Friends of Falmouth Wind.
The Friend of Falmouth Wind have proposed Article 27 an eminent domain article to take up to 200 residential homes around the wind turbines at the April Town Meeting. Another 6 to 8 year eminent domain lawsuit at taxpayers expense.
The " Friends" proposal :
"ARTICLE 27: To see if the Town will vote to advise the Board of Selectmen to take all necessary legal actions and measures by no later than December 31, 2016 to remove any and all impediments to fulltime operation of the Town’s municipal wind turbines per the manufacturer’s specifications at its Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 154 Blacksmith Shop Road, West Falmouth, MA. Or do or take any other action on the matter."
Health # 1 issue :
The Falmouth wind turbines are dangerous to the health and safety of up to 200 residential homes. The turbines have turned into a runaway freight train off the tracks. Only Falmouth Wind II operates 12 hours a day and not on Sunday.
The runaway freight trains continue to operate without tracks. The only thing keeping them going is Special Council law firms from Boston taking your tax dollars $300,000.00 every six months.
The wind turbines called the runaway freight train didn't suddenly come out of nowhere. Now Falmouth Town Meeting Members are going to be left facing a runaway freight train coming directly in their path full speed away.
What will Town Meeting do? Stand and take the blame or get out of the way and ask the Falmouth Select Board and the Friends of Falmouth Wind to get out in front and stop the train.
