Falmouth's Rachel Carson "Silent Spring" DDT To Wind Turbines

The Truth About DDT Pesticide To Human Health, Environmental Protection From Commercial Wind Turbines: Falmouth's Environmental Pendulum

Rachel Carson authored a book in 1962 called Silent Spring which caused public concern over the dangers of improper pesticide use and the need for better pesticide controls.

In 2013, a statue of Rachel Carson was erected in Waterfront Park, Woods Hole, Falmouth, Massachusetts.

In 1972 seven months of EPA hearings were held on DDT a pesticide. Since 1996, the EPA has been participating in international negotiations to control the use of DDT and other persistent organic pollutants used around the world.

The federal EPA at the time in 1972 may have imposed the ban on DDT, despite overwhelming research and evidence and a judge’s finding that the pesticide posed no threat to humans.

There are scholarly articles written in 1999 that reference DDT and say the EPA had acted on legal assumptions that amounted to unconstitutional delegations of legislative power.

EIRScience & Technology: The unscientific hoaxes behind EPA’s pesticide ban

Dr. J. Gordon Edward analyzes what it means to say that a chemical poses “the reasonable certainty of no harm”—and it’s not what the Environmental Protection Agency says.

Today sadly Falmouth, Massachusetts by 2018 has tarnished the environmental movement by becoming Eco-fascist. Eco-fascists are the de facto crusaders of what has become the religion of the American political left; that is environmentalism.

Falmouth by the year 2010 became ground zero for poorly placed commercial megawatt wind turbines in the United States taking health and property rights with no compensation. An environmental agenda gone horribly wrong!

In 2013 Falmouth held a town wide vote not to pay to take down the wind turbines. By a vote of 2 to 1 the voters agreed not to take down the turbines. The voters were never told the town prior to the vote had a warning letter, map, memo and emails that showed the turbines should never have been built.

The Falmouth Zoning Board of Appeals and Barnstable Superior Court agreed in June of 2017 the wind turbines are a nuisance and shut down both town-owned wind turbines.

The town had been warned prior to the installations of the turbines that they generate a chest pounding 110 decibels of noise.
