Founders Brewing Company and Classic Wine Imports Boston Throw Down at Bear in Boots Beer vs. Wine Dinner on June 15

Bear In Boots Gastropub Executive Chef/Owner Gates Rickard and his wife and Co-Owner Kate Rickard kick off summer with Founders Brewing Company and Classic Wine Imports Boston at the next installment of the Beer vs. Wine dinner series on June 15.

Founded in 1997, Founders Brewing Co. has grown to become one of the highest recognized brewery in the United States. With six World Beer Cup medals, four European Beer Star medals, and three Great American Beer Festival medals, under their belt they are excited to head to Falmouth. Founders Brewing Co. competes against Classic Wine Imports Boston, a division of the award winning Martignetti Companies, which specializes in unique and independent wine producers from emerging and established regions throughout the world.

Dynamic duo Kate and Gates Rickard invite guests to experience the next installment of their beer vs. wine dinner. Showcasing their continued appreciation for beer and wine, Kate and Gates host dinners where local breweries and wine purveyors go head to head in pairing their beverages with chef Gates four-course menu. On June 15, chef Gates’ menu will be debuting items from their greenhouse along with highlighting Bear in Boots’ signature European-inspired dishes, along with beverage pairings. The menu for the evening is as follows:

House Grown Product Made Into Soup & Garnish

3rd Course

Ambler & Ale Pork Tenderloin
Smoked Blistered Tomatoes, Crisp Potato Straw Mustard Chive Vinaigrette

4th Course

Cinnamon & Blackberry Cheesecake
With Lemon Lavender Chantilly Cream
