Friends of Falmouth Wind: A Catastrophic Political Failed Agenda
Agenda of "Friends of Falmouth Wind" is to mislead the public and to calm the rising tide of evidence of harm from megawatt wind turbines

The agenda of "Friends of Falmouth Wind" is to mislead the public and to calm the rising tide of evidence of harm in communities that had forged ahead based on false assurances of no harm to come from megawatt wind turbines.
The Friends of Falmouth Wind continue to collect signatures in an on-line petition to operate the wind turbines 24/7 despite health problems.
The "Friends" fail to understand while its important to put yourself first sometimes, its even more important to help others whenever you can. "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others."
Falmouth town officials and officials of 21 other communities continue to expose their residents to a noise described as torture from a lack of sleep saying there are no adverse impacts from the turbines.
Citizens have constitutional protections for our private property .We should all be free to enjoy the safety and comfort of our homes and property. For many in the middle class home ownership has served as the heart and soul of the American Dream.
The "Friends of Falmouth Wind" propose Article 27 for Falmouth Town Meeting on April 4, 2016. The article calls for the removal of the " impediments" around the turbines. How much longer before Town Meeting Members become " impediments."
One town official chair of the energy committee and member of "Friends of Falmouth Wind " who was involved in the siting of Falmouth’s wind turbines has since admitted that, here in Massachusetts, the early days of wind promotion, and siting, was akin to the “Wild West” – no rules, no laws.
A judge and/or jury will be looking at these facts: A B C
A. The Town knew prior to installation the wind turbines generated 110 decibels of noise in 2010.The Town had its Wastewater Superintendent Gerald Potamis respond by sending a separate letter directly to Vestas. In that letter the Wastewater Superintendent assumed, for the Town, all such siting responsibility and liability . An earlier draft of the Potamis letter was dated July 1, 2010
B. Mass DEP 2012 results indicated that Wind #1 exceeds 10 decibels above background sound levels during nighttime hours, which is the limit above which MassDEP considers a noise a nuisance regulations
C. The MTC/CEC Staff told its Board in April of 2013: The study (KEMA) did not include a detailed acoustic analysis based upon sampling of ambient acoustic conditions as is their current, more rigorous practice which might have identified a potential exceedance of the 10 decibel limit. The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center screwed up the original noise tests
November 2013, Barnstable Superior Court Judge Muse ruled: “a substantial risk (that they) will suffer irreparable physical and psychological harm if the injunction is not granted.
The bottom line here is no one here is being paid by the Koch brothers to keep the Falmouth wind tubines operating 24/7. The Falmouth turbines are ground zero for hurting people in the United States
The only alternative is to take them down.
