Sea Stars Early Learning Center

Sea Stars Early Learning Center offers a balanced program that incorporates play-based learning, structured lessons, and physical activities. Children are encouraged to explore their interests, whether through music, art, science, or outdoor exploration. There’s a focus on developmental milestones, including fine motor skills, communication, and social interaction. The facility focuses on helping children develop strong social skills through group activities, games, and cooperative learning. There’s an emphasis on emotional intelligence, teaching kids how to manage their feelings and resolve conflicts peacefully. Our amazing helps kids learn to share, collaborate, and support one another, fostering a sense of community. The facility embraces children from all backgrounds and is sensitive to cultural differences, making sure all children feel accepted and valued. The facility features a large, secure outdoor play area with age-appropriate equipment. Children spend plenty of time outdoors, engaging in physical play and exploring nature. There may also be gardening activities. The building is designed with child safety in mind, featuring soft corners, non-toxic materials, and secure fencing around outdoor areas. Access points are monitored and locked to ensure only authorized individuals can enter. There’s a first aid kit and trained staff on hand at all times to handle any emergencies. The classrooms and play areas are spotless, with an abundance of natural light streaming in through large windows. The space is well-organized, with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials accessible to children. There’s a cozy reading nook, art stations, and sensory play areas where kids can explore their creativity. Our staff is certified in child development, first aid, and CPR, but they also have a genuine passion for working with children. Melissa Anderson and Leigh-Ellen Ferreira are two Falmouth natives who have spent many years working with children.

Thursday, March 27, 3:00-4:30PM: In this one-session seminar, participants will learn how FCTV has integrated Google for Nonprofits into its daily work-flow by using Google Drive, Google Hangout, Google Calendar, YouTube, etc.  Participants will also receive recommendations on how their nonprofit's webmaster can utilize Google for Nonprofits. Prerequisite: None  Fee: $15 for FCTV members, $30 for non-members

You'll find unique creations including furniture, mirrors, resin work, jewelry, apparel and accessories, home goods, lavender products, hand crafted soaps and skin care products, custom bird houses, ceramics, premium faux florals, hand woven products and hand sewn bags, original art and beautiful photography, prints, cards, and more.
Artists set up outside Robin's studio and under the shady trees of the Cataumet Art Center, which will also be open. Participating artisans for this show are:

Hyannis Arts Hall and Back Porch Theater present the N. Richard Nash play The Rainmaker,
a tale of love, hope, and faith in ourselves and each other, from Thursday, August 6 through Sunday, August 9. A surprise hit of the 2025 summer season for the Sandwich Arts Alliance, The Rainmaker brings a unique blend of humor and insight into the human heart to Hyannis Arts Hall, an emerging hub for music, theater, and film in the historic East End of Hyannis, behind the Federated Church of Hyannis, at 81 Willow Avenue 
“A tale of love, a tale of hope, a tale of faith - in ourselves and in each other. At a time of paralyzing drought in the West, where ‘the only thing we have to fear is fear itself,’ we discover Lizzie, a girl whose father and two brothers are worried as much about her becoming an old maid as they are about their dying cattle — when out of nowhere appears an unexpected visitor. Honey-tongued and grandiose, he promises rain. For $100. And the rain comes. And so does love.”
Massachusetts and Cape Cod actorsNeil McGarry and Miranda Jonte return in this American classic. The two will also codirect the production. Funny honest, and sincere, The Rainmakeris a quintessential piece of Americana, and a timeless romance.
