Green Wind Turbine “Propaganda” Massachusetts

Former Governor Deval Patrick convinced the news media editorial boards for eight years all over Massachusetts to a goal of installing 2,000 megawatts of commercial wind turbine power by the year 2020. The news media obliged by taking press releases on a weekly basis and having reporters convert them into “puff “ news stories about commercial wind.

The Massachusetts news media quickley became the propaganda machine of the Patrick administration along with our elected officials. The media was a crucial instrument for the implementation of commercial wind turbines in residential neighborhoods taking health and property rights for the greater good.

Massachusetts has seen 21 communities complain about a noise described as torture from the wind turbines. The news media loyal to the green propaganda wind turbines agenda used the excuse that it was to expensive to investigate the truth objectively.

Massachusetts has witnesed over the last eight years the creation of first and second class citizens and former Attorney General Martha Coakley who sat on her hands and refused to do anything.

The first class citizens in Massachusetts are the news media editorial boards and our elected officials together carrying out the green commercial wind propagana agenda. The only problem was the agenda went horribly wrong the victims of the turbines fought back through the court system.

The victims all over Massachusetts are the second class citizens created by the poor placement of commercial wind turbines.

Commercial wind in Massachusetts today is a health and financial fiasco making law firms rich with taxpayer funds.

The news media has resorted to just ommiting any kind of commercial wind turbines news as the editors of the media are embarrassed or took jobs with the Massachusetts Wind Energy Center. Only about 100 of 2500 planned wind turbines have been installed in Massachusetts and the state has under the cover of darkness switched to solar as a means to reach the renewable energy goal of 2000 megawatts of renewable energy.

Today the taxpayers of Massachusetts should be aware of the ongoing cover up. Your news media editors and local politicians are conducting a new propaganda campaign to get the father of the Green Communities Act a get out of jail free card.

Former convicted House Speaker Sal DiMasi is just another felon in the eyes of the federal government. Sal has friends in the news media who argue for his early release while they continue to ignore the victims of commercial wind turbines losing their health and property rights.

The Green Communities Act is a direct result of the criminal former House Speaker Salvatore DiMasi. Sal wanted 2,000 megawatts of wind power by 2020. Mr. DiMasi remains in jail this week,also the third successive Massachusetts Speaker of the House to be indicted and convicted for financial kick backs.

The 2008Green Communities Act act was a misguided legislative blunder that has led to crippling litigation expensive today. The poor placement of commercial wind turbines in Falmouth has led to the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center a state agency helping pay the towns litigation fees against its own residents.

The news media today uses propaganda as a perfectly legitimate form of human activity to help conduct a so called real war of fossil fuels that takes the health and property rights of our citizens. The very citizens that are supposed to be protected.

Unfortunately, like other promoters of wind energy, the media articles continue telling less than half the true story about very high cost, low value electricity from wind energy and ignores completely its adverse environmental, economic, electric system reliability impacts, and its damaging impact on ordinary citizens, taxpayers, and electricity users in Massachusetts.

The media and politicians have now embarked on ocean wind turbine projects. The first is the incomplete New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal an ocean wind turbine port financial fiasco. The entrance to the port only has a legal entrance of 120 feet in which specialized ocean wind turbine “jack-up” barges don’t fit. There is no rail link or large cranes. The port remains unleased with bond paymenyts of $ 187,500.00 a month for 30 years at taxpayer expense.

Folks, This Christmas or holidays when your trying to buy gifts for your families, pay your rent, mortage,car payments think of the millions in federal stimulus funds and taxes that have been poured down the drain at the expense of your health and taxes.

Massachusetts wasted hundreds of millions on a commercial wind projects that could have gone to valuable infrastructure projects that could have put people to work all over Massachusetts rather than make foreign wind turbine manufactures rich at the expense of our health and property rights.
