Gunshots Fired In Falmouth, 2 Men Arrested: Police

Falmouth police were called to Shady Lane after almost two dozens residents reported hearing gunshots​.

FALMOUTH, MA — Two Falmouth men were arrested after police said the men shot guns in Hatchville. Forever Santiago, 25, and Kogan Santiago, 30, were charged with disturbing the peace, trespassing, trespassing with a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct and intimidation. Forever Santiago was also charged with improper storage of a firearm.

Around 8:50 p.m., police were called to Shady Lane after almost two dozens residents reported hearing gunshots. Police told the Falmouth Enterprise they searched the area, heard gunshots and followed them to two cars parked at Falmouth Ready Mix on Thomas Landers Road. When officers made their presence known, the gunfire stopped, police said.

Police said they interviewed Kogan Santiago, who told officers Forever Santiago had two guns on him and ran away when he heard police. Officers at this point had already taken Forever Santiago into custody. Police told the Falmouth Enterprise Forever Santiago said he wanted to show police where the guns were and led them to the woods, but no guns were found. But officers did find a shotgun in one of the cars, police said.

Both men were arraigned Tuesday in Falmouth District Court.
