'Honoring Resistance and Refusals' hosted by Bridges(R) by EPOCH at Mashpee

Bridges by EPOCH at Mashpee will host the presentation, “Honoring Resistance and Refusals,” on Tuesday, June 2 at 2:30 p.m. at Christ the King Parish, 3 Job’s Fishing Rd. Resistance and refusals are common among those with dementia, especially when it comes to care assistance. This presentation, led by Bridges by EPOCH Memory Care Director Alicia Seaver, will discuss common causes and provide tips on how to both honor and reduce resistance and refusals through simple changes in approach and environments.

This event is part of Bridges by EPOCH at Mashpee’s ongoing educational series on memory care. Presentations are free and open to the public, but space is limited.
