Liberty Chalkboard presents The Global Warming War as part of its free movie series on Friday, March 6th. The movie begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Falmouth Public Library (use the meeting entrance on Katherine Lee Bates Rd.).
“It’s settled science!” “Ninety-eight percent of scientists agree!” If you’ve heard all of this before, then come and hear another perspective. Film maker Luke Dillard began this project simply as a documentary about global warming . . . until his eyes were opened by what he learned along the way. This documentary explores the topics of polar bears, ice caps, sea level rise, natural disasters computer models and more. Physicist, Dr. Henrik Svensmark, the founders of The Weather Channel, the co-founder of The World Rainforest Movement, climatologists, meteorologists, physicists, authors, and political strategists are among the interviewed.
