Local Talent provides entertainment for Woods Hole Woman's Club Meeting
Woods Hole Woman's Club Program Features Readings and Performances by Its Own Members

Several members of the Woods Hole Woman’s Club entertained the full house of members and guests attending the group’s January 12 meeting at Fisher House, Church of the Messiah, Woods Hole. Presentations by San Lyman, Jeannette Fullerton, Mary Swope, Ellie Armstrong, Christina Rawley, and Nawrie Meigs-Brown included humorous comments on aging, poetry, and a satirical review of many events of 2015, offering some comic relief to concerns about the serious political and environmental issues of the times. Finally, Jeannette Fullerton and San Lyman presented a dramatic reading of part of Noel Coward’s play, Fallen Angels. While the club’s programs typically feature outside speakers and performers, this meeting revealed ample talent within the membership.
The Woods Hole Woman’s Club brings members together to provide enrichment and mutual helpfulness for the betterment of Woods Hole and the surrounding communities. Monthly meetings from October through April include informative presentations, entertainment, and social events. Members raise money for college scholarships and support other community organizations through various club activities. New members are welcomed at any time during the year. Information about membership is available from Susan Houghton at 508-540-0578.
