MAHONEY'S ANNUAL "LADIES NIGHT OUT" FEATURES THE HANDMADE REVOLUTION

Get personal with Mahoney’s Garden Center’s annual Ladies Night Out, as they open their doors to local artisans and food purveyors, in time to find that “just right” personal gift for the holidays. On Thursday, November 19, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, crafters, knitters, bakers, jewelers, artists and much more will sell their hand-made items at Mahoney’s in Falmouth.

“Buying local has taken on a whole new meaning, with so many items being hand-crafted and personal,” says Lauren Mahoney of Mahoney’s Garden Centers. “The local-maker movement is quite a revolution and we love supporting these companies.”

In addition, Mahoney’s will host many other local shops, restaurants and more. And to make the evening more special, browse them all while sampling mouth-watering food, offered by local businesses. Mahoney’s will showcase all of the local merchants in their warm greenhouses, rain or shine.

According to Mahoney, the success of Mahoney’s Ladies Night Out has made it an annual gathering spot for women, and even some men. “It’s wonderful to see friends come together and shop our local merchants and artisans. Not only does it support the local economy, but it’s a great way to find the most unique and thoughtful holiday gifts in a beautiful place. Simply put – it’s gorgeous and fun here!”

The event marks the official start of the holiday season for Mahoney’s. Great pride is taken in transforming the garden shop into a festive Christmas Shoppe filled with ornaments from around the world, exciting tabletop decor, lifelike pre-lit Christmas trees and wreaths, unique holiday plants, and other hard-to-find decorations.

At the event, Mahoney’s will also promote the Trees for Troops® program where shoppers can send the spirit of Christmas to military families by donating a Christmas tree. Each year Mahoney’s is honored to have the support of Naval Military Personnel from the USS Constitution for this program. Be sure to stop-by, meet our devoted troops and help support this program.
