A Mashpee man was charged with possessing and distributing child pornography and enticing a child on Tuesday afternoon. Police arrested John S. Gray at about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at his residence at Summerwood Condominiums at 300 Falmouth Road in Mashpee. He was charged with possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography, and enticing a child under 16.Falmouth Police was notified by Halifax, Nova Scotia, in October about a resident enticing a minor for sex in Nova Scotia, said Falmouth Police."An investigation was immediately opened, which quickly grew to include allegations in Plymouth and Mashpee, as well as locations in other states such as Rhode Island, Arizona, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The investigations are ongoing, and Falmouth Police Detectives are coordinating with all the above mentioned jurisdictions, as well as the Massachusetts State Police. At this time, not all of the potential victims have been identified," said Falmouth Police. Police said the investigation is ongoing and more charges will likely be filed in the coming weeks.
