Medical Pot Dispensary Submits Plans For Falmouth Shop
Selectmen approved a host community agreement with Nature's Remedy late last year for a dispensary on Teaticket Highway.
FALMOUTH, MA – A medical marijuana dispensary took a key step in developing its Falmouth shop this month, submitting plans to the Planning Board to obtain a special permit, according to the Falmouth Enterprise.
Massachusetts-based Nature's Remedy, which has shops in Lakeville and Millbury, is looking to open a dispensary at 31 Teaticket Highway. Its plans include 3,000 square feet of space, divided into office and retail space, and 15 parking spots, the Enterprise reported.
The board of selectmen approved a host community agreement with Nature's Remedy late last year. Under the agreement, the town receives 3 percent of the dispensary's annual sales – between $150,000 and $300,000 – for a maximum of five years. The town can renegotiate after five years.
