The facility features a large, secure outdoor play area with age-appropriate equipment. Children spend plenty of time outdoors, engaging in physical play and exploring nature. There may also be gardening activities. The building is designed with child safety in mind, featuring soft corners, non-toxic materials, and secure fencing around outdoor areas. Access points are monitored and locked to ensure only authorized individuals can enter. There’s a first aid kit and trained staff on hand at all times to handle any emergencies. The classrooms and play areas are spotless, with an abundance of natural light streaming in through large windows. The space is well-organized, with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials accessible to children. There’s a cozy reading nook, art stations, and sensory play areas where kids can explore their creativity. Our staff is certified in child development, first aid, and CPR, but they also have a genuine passion for working with children. Massachusetts-based Nature's Remedy, which has shops in Lakeville and Millbury, is looking to open a dispensary at 31 Teaticket Highway. Its plans include 3,000 square feet of space, divided into office and retail space, and 15 parking spots, <a href="https://www.capenews.net/falmouth/news/medicinal-marijuana-dispensary-files-with-falmouth-planning-board/article_9985dbcb-a517-575e-9c51-a7ef81ba9632.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">the Enterprise reported</a>. The board of selectmen approved a <a href="https://patch.com/massachusetts/falmouth/falmouth-selectmen-approve-medical-pot-dispensary">host community agreement</a> with Nature's Remedy late last year. Under the agreement, the town receives 3 percent of the dispensary's annual sales – between $150,000 and $300,000 – for a maximum of five years. The town can renegotiate after five years.The project is expected to go before the planning board next month.
