Meth Dealers Armed With AK-47, Glock Arrested: Falmouth Police

FALMOUTH, MA — Falmouth police on Christmas Eve said they arrested two methamphetamine dealers armed with an AK-47 assault rifle and Glock pistol.

James Mase, 21, formerly of Falmouth, and Robert Chapas, 19, of Anchorage, Alaska, were hit with gun and drug charges.
Police said on Thursday at about 2 a.m., they received a report of a Mase driving a vehicle suspiciously near the Emerson House. An officer pulled Mase over and found him with a Glock in his waistband, police said. Chapas was sitting in the passenger seat, police said.

Police said during a search of the vehicle, they found an AK-47, dozens of rounds of ammunition, brass knuckles, a switch blade, meth, meth pipes, and a scale.
Mase and Chapas are not licensed to carry guns, police said. They were charged with meth possession with intent to distribute.
