Naked Cape Man On LSD Repeatedly Stabs 70-Year-Old Mother: Police
Andrew Mrozinski stabbed his mother while he was under the influence of LSD, police said. His mother suffered life-threatening injuries.
MASHPEE, MA — A Mashpee man was arrested after police said he repeatedly stabbed his 70-year-old mother while under the influence of LSD. Andrew Mrozinski, 33, was arraigned in Falmouth District Court Friday and charged with assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, mayhem and resisting arrest.
Prosecutors told WHDH the stabbings occurred around 2:30 a.m. Thursday inside a condominium on Falmouth Road. Police said they were confronted by a naked Mrozinski, who immediately charged at officers. Mrozinski was subdued with a stun gun and was taken to Falmouth Hospital for evaluation.
Mrozinski's mother was airlifted to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence with life-threatening injuries.

Police told the Cape Cod Times Mrozinki's 35-year-old friend and a tenant at the condo was the one to call 911. According to police Mrozinski took three tabs of LSD and smoked marijuana with him earlier in the evening. The friend told police he later awoke to Mrozinski "screaming like a maniac."
Police said the friend tried to help Mrozinski's mother, but Mrozinski then attacked him too. The friend was taken to Falmouth Hospital with a head injury.

Mrozinski was ordered held without bail. He will return to court next week for a dangerousness hearing.
