Falmouth Offers "No Place for Hate" Group

Falmouth's anti-bias community group meets monthly. On January 7, the group will meet to discuss race and racism.

No Place for Hate Falmouth will hold its next meeting on Thursday, January 7 at 7pm at the Gus Canty Community Center at 790 Main Street. Included in our agenda is a continued discussion about race and racism started at our prior two meetings, about Ta Nehisi-Coates’s book “Between the World” and Me and the film “White Like Me.” Also on the agenda is final planning for the Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Holiday Breakfast and participation in national day of service, both on Monday, January 18.

All are welcome at these meetings. Come, learn more about the newly-reorganized anti-bias and anti-bullying group, meet others interested in furthering its mission, and find ways to help strengthen, expand, and promote No Place for Hate Falmouth. Like us on Facebook to learn about future events. For further information or questions contact rebelias@comcast.net.
