Romantic Cape Cod Beckons Sweethearts This Valentine’s Day

With its vast landscape of beautiful ocean, miles of sand dunes and pine trees, there is no place better suited for lovers than romantic Cape Cod. This Valentine’s weekend, couples can escape to the Cape, and to one of the region’s most romantic hotels, the Sage Inn & Lounge (www.sageinnptown.com). Voted Yankee Magazine’s Best Outer Cape Oasis, at Sage, couples can surround themselves with fine food, creative cocktails and a cozy fireplace while partaking in a Valentine’s package for lovebirds that is sure to score points.

For couples in search of something new, Sage is offering an entire weekend of mind-blowing food experiences. On Valentine’s Eve, Sage’s award-winning head chef, Lucio Garnica, is using local and other high-quality ingredients to craft a 4-course dinner complete with a perfectly paired bottle of wine and choice of three entrees, including Braised Beef Short Ribs Topped with Fresh Crab Meat and Green Peppercorn Demi and a Grilled Double Cut Pork Medallion Topped with a Fig and Blue Cheese Compound Butter.

On Saturday, Garnica and head pastry chef, Alana, will be hosting a Tale of Two Chocolates cooking class. Throughout the 2-hour event, couples will work together to create two savory and sweet chocolate dishes that are as perfectly suited as their creators. But, the best part comes at the end when partners get to eat their creations.

Because nothing is more indulgent than lounging with your beloved, throughout the Weekend, couples can also relax in Sage’s newly renovated rooms and visit the Jonathan Williams Spa next door for massages, facials and more. Before departing on Sunday, a variety of brunch specials are also being offered in the Sage Lounge.

Owned by Leszczysnki and partner, Diane DiCarlo, Sage Inn & Lounge opened in 2012 following a major renovation. A quiet destination situated in the heart of Provincetown’s Commercial Street, Sage blends historic charm with contemporary sensibilities and zen-like touches. Individuals can recharge in one of 19 rooms or in the intimate Lounge area serving everything from herb-infused cocktails to tapas-style small plates. In addition, the facility boasts two private event spaces, which play host to weddings, corporate and food events.
