Study Points to Local Property Value Loss from Turbines
Despite different community experiences, Ontario study (Nov. 27, 2014) finds 32% of those polled, agree - turbines lower property value
“Property value losses may not simply be “perceived”, but instead rooted in very real differences in the spatial juxtaposition and cumulative impacts of local clusters of turbines. It is tempting to point to the average lack of property value loss in a large national study to dismiss what may be “real” losses worthy of mitigation attention at the local level.”
