Two people were injured in an early morning crash Wednesday that officials blamed on a late-season snowstorm.
The crash happened on Brick Kiln Road near Service Road. Authorities said they responded to the scene at about 5:45 a.m. Police said a 43-year-old woman driving a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee lost control negotiating a curve. The vehicle flipped and struck a fire hydrant and "at least one tree," police said.
The woman and here 19-year-old passenger were transported to Falmouth Hospital with minor injuries.
Police said bad road conditions from the storm contributed to the crash.
Wednesday's storm was expected to drop about 6 inches of snow on Falmouth.
