You know it will be an evening of terrific music when jazz musician Ted Jellinek is involved. For this special benefit Ted has brought together a great ensemble that includes vocalist Liz Saunders, who provides multi-faceted entertainment in many Cape venues, specializing in music of the Great American Songbook featuring her vocal talents; Laird Boles, bassist with extensive Cape experience in jazz, folk, pop music. Laird has been part of well-known groups Tripping Lilly and Toast and Jam; and participated in original music projects, including the most recent concert by Three-Legged Dog. And there’s Michael Dunford: percussionist, graduate of the Berklee School of Music. Michael is active in Cape theater, multiple jazz groups. He is the leader of the WhoDat Jazz Band. Ted has been playing jazz piano (also klezmer) since his teens, beginning with high school summers in the Catskills, and continuing as an active jazz musician around Cape Cod and member of FJC’s Bayit Band.

Falmouth Jewish Congregation is located at 7 Hatchville Road, East Falmouth. A Reform Jewish congregation affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism, it serves the Upper Cape and beyond with worship, educational and cultural programs, and social justice.
