Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers

The

Waquoit Bay Research Reserve's Evenings on the Bluff Series presents the

Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers.

Join us on Tuesday, July 23rd at 6:30PM for a lively

performance of songs and dances passed down from many generations from the Eastern
Woodland culture.

The
Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers are a group of performers and artisans
that have been performing together since 1989 sharing their heritage and
culture. The group has toured extensively throughout Massachusetts and New
England.  They bring to the
non-native world the message that Native culture still exists in the Wampanoag
country.  Each performance is an ideal

opportunity for all nations to come together as one.

The
Reserve’s headquarters is located at 131 Waquoit Highway (Route 28). Visitors
are encouraged to bring a chair, beach blanket and a picnic dinner and enjoy
the view. Donations are welcome. In the event of rain, the program will be held
under our tent or indoors.  For
additional information call 508-457-0495 x108 or visit us at www.waquoitbayreserve.org.
