Wings For Falmouth Families to hold "Family Night" fundraiser at the Carousel of Light, Mullen Hall School, Falmouth

On Thursday, August 20 from 5:00 pm to dusk, Wings for Falmouth Families will hold a fundraiser at the Carousel of Light, at the Mullen Hall School. The event will feature rides on the magnificent hand-carved wooden carousel, as well as face painting, ice cream from Smitty’s Ice Cream, music, and a raffle. Rain date will be Friday, August 21.

Funds raised during this event will assist Wings For Falmouth Families in providing local families with minor children an immediate safety net of financial assistance during a time of medical crisis or a tragic event. Established in 2003 by Lisa and Eric Asendorf, the organization empowers the family to focus on the needs of the family member who has become ill, and not worry about the monthly bills.

According to Charlotte Humphrey, event chair, “The Carousel of Light Board of Directors very generously offered use of the carousel for our family-themed fundraiser. Their mission is to bring happiness to children of all ages, which certainly aligns with ours, which is to help families in crisis. So why not work together? We hope the community comes out in force to support both organizations so we can continue our efforts on behalf of Falmouth families.”
