Woods Hole Woman's Club Welcoming Tea

The Woods Hole Woman’s Club invites members and guests to its annual welcoming tea and open house from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 8, at Fisher House, Church of the Messiah, Church Street, Woods Hole.

Christina Rawley, board president, will present an overview of the organization and a summary of the coming year’s thoughtful monthly programs and useful activities planned to engage, inform, and delight. A copy of the newly printed 2015-16 Member’s Directory will be distributed. A few WHWC 100th Anniversary book bags are still available for sale and may be purchased for $20. at the tea. Light refreshments will be served.

Since its founding in 1914, The Woods Hole Woman’s Club has worked to enhance the lives of those in Woods Hole and surrounding communities. Members raise money for college scholarships and support other community organizations through various club activities.

Most meetings are held at 11:30 AM on the second Tuesday of each month from October through April with occasional events scheduled in the evening.
