Zoe Lewis Performs Free Concert in Memory of Rachael Traub, June 14 at 6:30

Join multi-instrumentalist, jazz musician, singer-songwriter, story-teller Zoe Lewis for a special concert in memory of her friend Rachel

Falmouth Jewish Congregation invites all to a free performance by acclaimed, Provincetown-based musician Zoe Lewis in memory of Rachael Traub. This event, will take place on Tuesday, June 14 at 6:30 P.M. at the Falmouth Jewish Congregation’s East End Meeting House on Sandwich Road. Parking and a post-concert reception will take place at the congregation’s Blanche & Joel D. Seifer Community Center at 7 Hatchville Road across the street. Doors will open at 6:00 P.M. There are no ticket sales. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Zoe Lewis is a multi-instrumentalist, jazz musician, singer-songwriter, story-teller and vaudevillian who hails from the UK but has made Provincetown, Cape Cod her home for the last 25 years. She has released seven albums of original material, toured with Judy Collins, the Indigo Girls, Richie Havens, Nanci Griffiths and has even opened for Pat Benetar on the ukulele. She has won numerous songwriting awards, her songs have appeared on Broadway and in commercials and she has composed music for film as well as creating two musicals.

This special memorial concert celebrates the life of Rachael Traub, an extraordinary human being, chef, computer genius and friend. Rachael touched so many people, inspired songs and attended many a Zoe performance. Ms. Lewis released a brand new album this year entitled The Sound of Wings, dedicated to Rachael.
