2018 ALCS Red Sox Vs. Houston Astros Schedule

The Boston Red Sox will host the Houston Astros this Saturday to kick off the ALCS.

BOSTON, MA — And, exhale. The Red Sox held on to defeat the New York Yankees, 4-3, Tuesday in Game 4 of the American League Division Series. Boston now prepares to host the defending world champion Houston Astros in the American League Championship Series.

The Astros knocked Boston out of the playoffs in the first round last year. The two teams finished with the best records in the American League this regular season, each setting franchise records in wins.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora was on the World Series-winning Houston bench as a coach in 2017.

Note: The Red Sox-Astros Game 2 on Sunday night will compete with the New England Patriots hosting the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. Game 3 will take place Tuesday, the same day the Boston Celtics play their much-anticipated season opener against Philadelphia.
