
No one knows if the Red Sox will spend time before their 2017 season opener receiving World Series rings and raising another banner. But at least the Sox know who they'll be playing that day, and every day for the rest of the season.
MLB released the Red Sox 2017 schedule Wednesday afternoon.

- Boston will host Pittsburgh to open the season on April 3.
- The Sox travel to Detroit for their first road series on April 7.
- The first time the Sox will see the Yankees will be at Fenway Park on April 25.
- The Marathon Monday morning game will see the Tampa Bay Rays at Fenway Park.
- In addition to Pittsburgh, fans will be able to watch the National League's Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, and Philadelphia Phillies at Fenway.
- The longest homestand will be early, from April 25 - May 4, hosting the Yankees, Cubs, and Baltimore Orioles.
- The Sox will have two 10-game road trips: One from May 29 - June 8, traveling to the Chicago White Sox, Orioles, and Yankees; Another from June 30 - July 9, traveling to the Toronto Blue Jays, Texas Rangers, and the Rays. The latter road trip leads right into the All-Star break.
- Boston ends the regular season with a seven-game homestand, with three against Toronto and the final four against the Houston Astros.
