Can You Find David Ortiz in This Corn Maze?
A Sterling corn maze has carved Big Papi's likeness alongside a 'Thank You' message for the retiring slugger. See the image inside.
David Ortiz - loud, proud, and larger than life - is a tough guy to miss. But you might have to try a bit harder to find him etched into a corn maze.
Davis Mega Maze, a corn maze in Sterling, is paying homage to the retiring Red Sox slugger by carving his image into the maze. Next to the familiar image of Ortiz pointing to the sky, presumably after a clutch home run, is a message reading 'Thanks Big Papi'.
The 40-year-old Ortiz has said this season will be his last, even though he has been one of the most productive and feared hitters in all of baseball this season.
