Curt Schilling Has a New Radio Show, And it Starts Saturday
Not sick of listening to the outspoken former Red Sox pitcher yet? Then here's some good news for you.
Curt Schilling's mouth has found another outlet.
The outspoken former Red Sox pitching icon who was fired by ESPN for some - is "controversial" the word? - comments has struck a deal with the Howie Carr Radio Network to host a syndicated weekly radio show.
The three-hour show will be broadcast every Saturday, beginning this Saturday, Sept. 10, at 9 a.m. Whether it finds an audience is yet to be seen, but he's likely to have more success than if he followed through on his threat to challenge Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren.

“Our goal at The Howie Carr Radio Network is to become the premiere provider of talk radio content for the future," station operations manager Jared Goodell told Talkers Magazine. "We strongly believe that Curt Schilling is the answer to the nagging question of ‘who’s next?’ in the business. Curt brings spirited, educated and level-headed conversations to the table and is passionate about talking with the listeners.”
The magazine says Schilling will tackle a number of different topics, from sports to, yes, politics.
