David Ortiz Pens Heartfelt Note to Fans

David Ortiz said fans can look forward to the future while fondly remembering the past in a note posted on Twitter Wednesday afternoon.

Big Papi tells fans to "smile, the future is bright with all these young studs!!!" - presumably referencing players like Andrew Benintendi, Jackie Bradley Jr., Mookie Betts, and Xander Bogaerts - and wraps it up by shouting out to the three World Series championships during his tenure.
