Did You See The Red Sox 'Catch of the Year' Last Night?
Jackie Bradley Jr.'s game-saving grab needs to be seen to be believed.
Odds are you didn't stay up past midnight to see an underwhelming Red Sox team battle Oakland in California last night. But if you did, you were rewarded in one play.
Jackie Bradley Jr.'s wall-scaling, home run-robbing snare in the bottom of the ninth with two outs saved the game for Boston and pushed it into extra innings. The Red Sox would lose pretty soon after on a you-ain't-catching-this-one walkoff homer in the bottom of the 10th, but the chatter Saturday will be about what some people were calling the best catch of the season.
