Divorce Mediation: Information You Want to Know

Workshop Details
This workshop will address what happens in divorce mediation, from the first mediation session to filing for a 1A no-fault divorce in Massachusetts.  We will discuss:

• How to determine if mediation is the appropriate process for your situation,
• The topics divorcing couples need to make decisions on,
• Court requirements, including: forms and what needs to be done before filing for divorce
• Resources, including: suggested guidelines for appropriate parenting plans, recommended books, and helpful hints for minimizing the cost of divorce.

Intended Audience
This workshop is designed for people who have made the decision to divorce and who want to learn more about participating in mediation to work out the terms of the divorce.  While couples are encouraged to attend, individuals are also welcomed.
