Fenway Evacuation Prompted by Fish Oil Supplements
The neighborhood was locked down after the flammable oils were found in a basement "lab."

The flammable liquid found in a basement “lab” near Fenway Park Tuesday — which prompted the neighborhood to be evacuated — turned out to be materials used for to make fish oil. Some were flammable, but none were explosive, according to reports.
The FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force joined Boston Police, Fire and hazmat officials on Kilmarnock Street in the Fenway area just after 7 p.m. Tuesday, after a city inspections crew found the suspicious liquids as well as a heating device in what Boston Police Commissioner William Evans termed a basement “lab.”
Police diverted traffic around the area Wednesday evening, just after the first pitch was thrown in the Red Sox game at Fenway Park. Residents were evacuated, and others in the area were ordered to shelter in place while chemists tested the liquid. It turned out to be substances used to make oils for food production.
