Red Sox Home Ticket Prices Among Highest In MLB: Report
There's optimism surrounding the Red Sox this season, but it won't be cheap to see a home game.
BOSTON, MA — The Red Sox have the second-highest average home ticket prices in Major League Baseball, a new analysis found.
The average minimum price of a ticket to see a game at Fenway is $63.31. The Red Sox only trail the Los Angeles Dodgers, who charge $76.57 a ticket.
The study comes from Doc's Sports Service, a gambling site. The report analyzed more than 2,400 games and their minimum listed ticket prices.

"The Dodgers sit well above everyone else, suggesting sustained premium demand across the schedule rather than just a handful of big series," Doc's Sports wrote. "The Red Sox, Giants, Phillies, and Cubs fit a more traditional big-draw profile."
Surprisingly, coming in at No. 3 were the Athletics. The team moved from Oakland to a minor league stadium in West Sacramento last year. The A's are awaiting their new home to be built in Las Vegas.
