Flu-Ridden Sox Take More Hits
One slugger was vomiting mid-game and even a broadcaster had to leave the park.

The flu-ridden Red Sox dropped their second straight game to the Tigers Saturday, a 4-1 decision in Detroit.
The illness continued its assault on the clubhouse, sending righthander Joe Kelly back to the team hotel and having outfielder Andrew Benintendi vomiting in the sixth inning. Even play-by-play broadcaster Dave O'Brien had to leave mid-game.
Kelly had a dreadful performance Friday's afternoon. Benintendi stayed in Saturday's game.

The Red Sox also got news that Hanley Ramirez probably won't join them in Detroit thanks to the flu. Lefty reliever Robbie Ross hasn't been available, either.

The good news is Mookie Betts may be able to return for Sunday's game.

Boston is already shorthanded with Xander Bogaerts and Matt Barnes on bereavement.
As far as Saturday's game went, Jackie Bradley Jr. flashed some leather but Eduardo Rodriguez had home run issues and the Sox couldn't get the clutch hit.
Sunday's contest will see former Tiger Rick Porcello return to Comerica Park, this time as the reigning AL Cy Young winner.
