Man Shot to Death in Stop & Shop Parking Lot

One man is dead after a shooting in a Stop & Shop parking lot in the Mission Hill neighborhood.

Police are actively searching for the shooter, a male suspect. There was no further description.

A call came into police just after noon Wednesday reporting a shooting in the parking lot shared by Stop & Shop and Walgreens 192 Alleghany St. The rear window had been shot out of a blue sedan, and there were bullet holes in the rear door. One victim was rushed to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he later died.

Police are searching for a male suspect. There is a very large, active crime scene at this time.
