Hijinks Highlight Red Sox Opening Day
The Red Sox won Monday, but Gronk, Brady, Papi, and a bold kid made the day.

The Red Sox won, 5-3, behind a hopefully prophetic performance from Andrew Benintendi, a stubbornly reliable start from Rick Porcello, and a somewhat encouraging performance by Pablo Sandoval.
Of course, a big offensive inning and a scary bullpen performance made sure we would know the Red Sox season is in full bloom. But being Opening Day, many of the best stories happened outside of the game itself.

Next was probably the highlight of the Patriots offseason. Not 24 hours after getting in the ring at WrestleMania in Orlando, Rob Gronkowski stole Tom Brady's recently recovered Super Bowl jersey. Gronk took off into right field, and Brady gave chase, tackling Gronk before he could use the jersey to presumably sop up spilled drinks in his Monster Seats.

That wasn't the only tackling that took place at Fenway. This lively youngster led security on a short chase through the outfield before being taken down the hard way.
