Missing College Student Found Dead: Northeastern President
Dennis Njoroge, a native of Kenya was last seen in November.

A missing Northeastern student last seen Nov. 28 was found dead, the university said in a statement.
“It is with deepest sadness that I’m writing to inform you that the search for our missing student, Dennis Njoroge, came to a tragic conclusion on New Year’s Eve,” University President Joseph E. Aoun said in a statement. “We have confirmed through our work with the Massachusetts State Police that the search has now ended.”
Njoroge, a native ok Kenya, studied media arts at Northeastern. He graduated from Burncoat High School in Worcester.

“He was a familiar face to students at the basketball courts in Marino, and was looking forward to beginning a co-op at a television news station in Boston this month,” the statement said. “Over the holidays, we continued to hope for Dennis’s safe return, even as we felt his absence. He will be missed greatly.”
Aoun thanked members of the Northeastern community for bringing attention to Njoroge’s disappearance.
