Playoffs! Red Sox Clinch Spot
The red-hot Red Sox have guaranteed themselves a shot at another World Series.

It's only one step, but it's a big one.
The Red Sox on Saturday night clinched a playoff berth after their win over Tampa Bay. The win, Boston's 10th straight, guarantees the team won't do any worse than the second America League wild-card spot. At best, the Sox, who can clinch the American League East this week, can finish with the best record in the American League.
Boston sits one game behind Texas for the AL's top mark. It's not too shabby for a team coming off back-to-back last-place finishes in the division.

The biggest question is whether the Red Sox can win their first World Series since 2013 and fourth since 2004 in David Ortiz's last season. On Saturday night, they made sure they'll have the opportunity to answer it.
