Celebrating over 90 years of excellence in fashion education, The School of Fashion Design is the only educational institution in New England dedicated exclusively to the study of fashion design. SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. For creatives and textile arts enthusiasts, SFD offers workshops in various fiber arts such as weaving, lace making, embroidery, millinery, upcycling, and more. As an SFD student, you will join a diverse community of emerging designers. Our studios are filled with recent high school graduates, students from nearby colleges enriching their education with fashion, and working professionals embarking on a new career path. SFD faculty and students are active partners in our local community, collaborating regularly with organizations and businesses through internships, exhibitions, field trips, and special events. Our reputation for excellence is on display each time our students show their work at fashion shows and exhibits throughout the year. With an SFD Certificate in Fashion Design, our alumni have enjoyed fashion careers with Adidas, Coldwater Creek, J. Jill, New Balance, PUMA, Ralph Lauren, Talbots, Timberland, TJX Companies, and more. Guests are invited to bring a wide variety of collectibles and historical material for evaluation, including stamps, coins, paper money, gold &amp; silver jewelry, space &amp; aerospace memorabilia, vintage technology and computing, signed material and autographs, cryptology and code-related artifacts, pop culture collectibles, and historical artifacts.
Whether you’ve inherited a collection, are downsizing, settling an estate, or simply want to learn more about an unusual item, our specialists will be available to help identify, evaluate, and provide insight into what you have.

KidsJam is a free early childhood (3-5 years old) interactive music education program provided to the Boston-area community by the Music Education department at Berklee College of Music. The program is intended to introduce young children to a variety of musical activities essential to a well-rounded music education. These include singing and sound exploration, moving, playing rhythm instruments, creating, listening, and responding to music, as well as learning about a variety of musical concepts and instruments.
During this weekly workshop, Berklee music education students, led by Associate Professor Mya Scarlato,&nbsp;practice their developing teaching skills in this fun and energetic setting.&nbsp;
