Last week, the Pawtucket Red Sox dominated a series against the Charlotte Knights, bumping their record to a season-high five games over .500. The Portland Sea Dogs struggled a bit in the field and on the mound in their series against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, but managed to pull off two key wins and split the series. Highlights: Despite dropping their first game against Charlotte, the PawSox battled back to dominate the series 3-1. Their wins over the Knights bring the PawSox to five games over .500, matching a season best.
Star of the Week: Roenis Elias
The hurler threw 6 2/3 scoreless innings in the PawSox' shutout of the Knights on Sunday, letting up just two hits and four walks while striking out four. His commanding performance brings his ERA for the season to 3.90.

Marco Hernandez (2B) - .321, 2 home runs, 14 RBIs, 1 stolen base
Portland Sea Dogs
• July 14: L 4-6 vs. New Hampshire Fisher Cats

Highlights: Though the Sea Dogs split the series with the below-.500 Fisher Cats, their bats showed promise during the week. However, Portland was plagued by a costly error and a stumbling relief staff, which ultimately proved to be the difference in New Hampshire's wins.
Star of the Week: Mauricio Dubon
The shortstop excelled at the plate, bumping his average up from .269 to .286 by the end of the week. But he really popped during the Sea Dogs' win on July 16, batting 3-for-4 with two RBIs, spearheading Portland's offensive onslaught against the Fisher Cats.
Prospect Watch:
Yoan Moncada (2B) - .329, 7 home runs, 20 RBIs, 7 stolen bases
Andrew Benintendi (OF) - .277, 6 home runs, 30 RBIs, 6 stolen bases
