• Fitchburg artist's paintings showcased at The Highlands (sentinelandenterprise.com) — A longtime Fitchburg resident and self-taught painter is being celebrated at The Highlands assisted living facility, where his acrylic scenes of Coggshall Park and other city landmarks are on display. Mayor Sam Squailia honored him with a proclamation, and staff and community members praised how his work reflects the city he loves and hopes to share more widely, including someday at the Fitchburg Art Museum.

• River Run Grabs top Eastern Exec as Future CEO (bankerandtradesman.com) — A major leadership change is coming to Fitchburg-based Rollstone Bank & Trust’s parent company, River Run Bancorp, as veteran banking executive Sujata Yadav steps in as president immediately and CEO next July. She’ll oversee River Run and its three community banks, including Rollstone, while outgoing CEO Lloyd Hamm shifts to executive chairman for two years to support the transition.
